The first proposed Jigawa Economic Summit under the present administration comes up between the 1st and 2nd July this year in Dutse
Addressing a press conference today on the preparation for the summit at the press conference in Dutse ,the commissioner for Information and Chairman of the publicity sub committee ,Alh Sagir Musa Ahmed said the summit reflects the unwevering committment of the present administration to extol the economic potentials of the state that will attract both National and Foreign investors to invest in the state
Alhaji Sagir Musa said Jigawa was blessed with peaceful environment , fertile land and economic potentials suitable for development partners to invest in economic key sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, commerce and industry health and education
He rxplained that the summit will feature high level discussions with stakeholders and evonomic expertise ftom some African countries
The commissioner stated thst amother press conferemce will be held one week tp the commencement of the summit for an update
The theme for the summit is “Unlocking opportunities driving sustainable growth for better Jigawa
