The residents of Hadejia Local Govt Area have once again been urged to adopt the monthly statewide environmental sanitation exercise as part of efforts to keep their sorroundings clean.
The State supervisor overseeing the program in the Area last Saturday , 29th November 2025, Alhaji Sadiq Kabir said there’s need for the community to embrace the exercise in order to combat mosquito borne diseases and other rapidly spreading illiness caused by unclean environment.
He reaffirmed Govts commitment to working hand in hand with public to ensure the program is widely accepted considering the importance of the program to the wellbeing of the society.
In his remark,Council chairman Alhaji Ahmed Abba Ari reiterated his council determination to provide full support and necessary working material at all times to compliment with state Govt policy in implementing the program. Alhaji Ahmed Hussaini , who was represented by the leader of the local govt legislative council , called on association’s and other stakeholders to cooperate with the Govts in it’s efforts to maintain environmental sanitation and improve Health Care service.
In a vote of thanks,Head of Water and Sanitation Department Alhaji Abdulmutallib Babale commended District Head’s, Member’s of National Youth Service Corp’s (NYSC) and security personnel for their active participation towards achieving the set goals. He assured continued evacuation of all collected waste to enhance environmental hygiene.
