Governor M Umar Namadi of Jigawa state, senators, and other dignitaries attended the wedding fatiha of the two daughters of the chairman senate committee on police affairs, Dist Senator Ahmad Abdulhamid Malam Madori . The duo children were married on Saturday 27th December 2025, with Rukayya Ahmad tying the knot with Ishak Garba Dayyabu while Amina Ahmad got married to Kabiru Ahmad Amasaya , chairman AMASAYA Group of Companies.
The event, took place at the popular Alfurqan Mosque , No 9 Nasarawa GRA Kano, by 11:00 A.M . This colourful wedding Fatiha was officiated by Dr Bashir Gadan Qaya , the mosque’s Imam. President of the Senate Godwill Ophabio was represented by Dist Senator Babangida Usaini who served as Wakil* and Waliy for one of the bride while Governor Umar Namadi who appeared in mass convoy of his entouraged in a fully tinted multi million naira GLC LUXUS, served as the Waliy for the other daughter of Sen Ahmad Abdulhamid
The ceremony was fully attended by high dignitaries from across Nigeria, including governors, senators, house representatives as well as some past and serving ministers and advisers to President . When Senator Babangida Usaini and Sen Rufai Hanga led a delegation of senators, including Ali Ndume, Sani Musa, Ibrahim Bomai, Buhari Abdulfatai, and Shehu Buba, among others.
Some members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament were also present. Some Presidential aides were in attendance .others were deputy governor of Jigawa state Engr Aminu Usman Gumel , Kano State APC chairman Abbas A Abbas ,Jigawa state APC Chairman Aminu Sani Gumbel, and some political followers from within and outside Hadejia senatorial.
The gathering ultimately reflected what many described as a perfect blend of elegance and class— showing how popular Sen Ahmad Abdulhamid is in the politics of Jigawa state and the Nigeria in general .The attendance of Governor Umar Namadi will remain unforgettable day for the bride and the groom families and of course to the politicking style of Dist Sen Malam Madori that bonded the governor and his political allied .
