From an early age, Hon Ahmad demonstrated a fearless Juvenile life and later an unwavering commitment to excellence. He attended the prestigious Sambo primary School in 1978 where he laid the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. His academic journey saw him through Senior Secondary Certificate from Govt Secondary School Dawakin Tofa Kano State 1988 , Ordinary National Diploma at FCE Kano and his Higher National Diploma from Kano State Polytechnic then to Bayero University Kano for Post Graduate and Masters degree .
As a seasoned brilliant and dedicated politician Maikudi as popularly called was placed in many government responsibilities under different governors of Jigawa State , where he served for over 32 years. His expertise and leadership propelled him to a role in the government of Barrister Ali Sa’adu 1992 to 1993, Saminu Turaki 1999 to 2007, Sule Lamido 2007 to 2015, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar 2015 to 2023 and the incumbent M Umar Namadi 2003 to Date .
