Education remains the cornerstone of sustainable development and the most powerful tool for empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and securing the future of any nation. Guided by this conviction, Senator Ambassador Ahmed Abdulhamid Mallam Madori has made education a central pillar of his leadership and public service agenda.
Through strategic investments, scholarships, institutional support, and legislative initiatives, Senator Madori has demonstrated a strong commitment to expanding access to quality education for the people of his constituency. His interventions cut across multiple levels of the educational system—ranging from basic and secondary education to tertiary and professional training—ensuring that young people are provided with the opportunities and resources needed to succeed.
By prioritizing human capital development, the Senator continues to empower students, reduce financial barriers to education, and promote academic excellence. His educational initiatives reflect a forward-looking vision aimed at nurturing a generation of skilled, knowledgeable, and globally competitive citizens capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.
Some of those achievements gernered in educational sector includes among others ;–
• Sponsoring over 300 students on various academic programs both within and outside the country
• Fully sponsored private SSCE examination fees for many constituents to enable them complete secondary education.
• Sponsored JAMB registrations for students across the constituency analysed as follows
a,2024: 1,200 students
b, 2025: 1,200 students
c, 2026: 1,500 students
• Awarded 2,000 merit-based scholarships worth ₦20 million to local students.
• Paid registration fees and house rent support for students studying at Sule Lamido University (SLU).
• Supplied brand-new school buses to the following secondary schools
•a, Girls Unity Secondary School, Malam Madori
b, Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Birniwa
c, Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Kaugama
• Facilitated the payment of registration fees for five students at Bayero University Kano, totaling ₦100,000.
• Provided ₦6,600,000 financial support to assist 15 additional students in pursuing higher education.
• Paid ₦23,850,000 registration fees for foreign students from Malam Madori studying abroad.
•Distributed educational materials to facilitate nomadic schools across the senatorial constituency
•Funded NABTEB Nov/Dec 2024 examination registrations for constituents.
•Provided 150 JAMB PINs across 11 wards, worth ₦1,200,000.
•Sponsored Children’s Day Celebrations (2024 & 2025) with ₦500,000 to motivate youth educational engagement.
•Facilitated the construction of a classroom blocks at some Govt day Secondary Schools in Hadejia to improve learning condition .
•Facilitated the construction of Police Secondary School in Hadejia.
•Facilitated recruitments and admissions of some interested applicants within constituency into some Police training institutions across the country
• Processed and sponsored 30 students admitted from the eight local government areas at BELBA College of Nursing and Sciences, Hadejia, and College of Health Sciences and Technology, Nguru, Yobe State.
•Paid ₦10,800,000 scholarship fees for students at the College of Health Science and Technology and Federal Schools of Nursing, Nguru.
•Covered registration and accommodation costs for 10 students at College of Education and Islamic Legal Studies Ringim.
•Awarded scholarships to 8 students at Atiku Abubakar College of Legal and Islamic Studies Nguru.
•Sponsored 3 students at the School of Nursing, FMC Nguru.
• Fully sponsored 17 students at Adamu Adamu College of Nursing Sciences Azare.
• Sponsored a legislative bill for the establishment of a Federal University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Malam Madori (SB: 733, 2025) to expand higher education opportunities and support regional development.
Through these far-reaching initiatives, Senator Ahmed Abdulhamid Mallam Madori continues to demonstrate that investing in education is investing in the future, laying a strong foundation for sustainable development, social progress, and generational empowerment.
