Sen Babangida denounced unfounded allegation against him on governorship Seat

Dist Sen Babangida Hussaini Kazaure representing Jigawa North West in the Senate chamber has refuted a claim by one Magaji Dogo who Recently appeared in radio program making unfounded allegations that he is preparing to contest for the governorship of Jigawa State.

The senator regarded the claims as entirely false and clearly intended to create unnecessary tension, division and mischief within his party, the APC.

He further reiterated that, His Excellency Governor M Umar Namadi and him remain members of one united party, working collaboratively and respectfully toward the progress of Jigawa state.

The Sen said ” A few days ago, an individual identified as Magaji Dogo went on Freedom Radio making some baseless assertions. He further attempted to mislead the public by wearing a campaign T-shirt bearing my image alongside that of the Governor, complemented with a cap, to give the false impression that such statements originated from me. This is highly deceptive and completely untrue. ” Said the Senator

Sen Babangida in a press release further confirm that ” I wish to reiterate, without ambiguity, that I remain firmly loyal to the administration of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that of Governor Malam Umar Namadi. My commitment to their leadership and to the continued development of our dear state is firm and consistent.

Given these recent developments, the one time permanent Secretary federal ministry of works and transport respectfully urge the leadership of APC to take appropriate measures to address and curtail such misleading narratives. He went on ” It is important to safeguard the unity, discipline and integrity of the APC, ensuring that falsehood and mischief do not distract us from our collective responsibility to build a stronger Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole.” Babangida concluded.
