APC Suspends Rep. Ibrahim Kamfani Auyo and Six Other Party Officials in Jigawa
The Jigawa State chapter of the APC has announced the suspension of the member representing Auyo/Hadejia/Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Kamfani Auyo, along with six other party officials in Auyo Local Government Area.
In a statement issued on May 31, 2026, the party said the disciplinary action was taken over alleged violations of party rules, including anti party activities, causing internal disputes, and creating divisions among members.
Others affected by the suspension include the State Deputy Women Leader, Aisha Adamu Auyo (Kande); Auyo Ward Women Leader, Yargabi Babannan Auyo; Auyo Ward Chairman, Musa Idris Zabarau; APC Vice Chairman of Auyo LGA, Ibrahim Ayama; APC Financial Secretary in the LGA, Saje Hadiyau; and Auyo Ward Vice Chairman, Sani Abdullahi Hadiyau.
The statement noted that the decision was taken under the leadership of the newly elected APC Chairman in Jigawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmad Garba MK, and that the suspension takes immediate effect.
According to the party, the move is part of efforts to enforce discipline and preserve unity within the party in the state.
